Meet the creator and CEO of Phoenix Fitness & Recovery
My name is Jessica Goolsby and I’m a dedicated fitness professional with a passion for holistic well-being. I’m the proud owner and creator of Phoenix Fitness & Recovery, with my 500-hour Pilates Instructor certification and 200-hour Registered Yoga Instructor certification.
My expertise lies in guiding individuals through tailored Reformer Pilates sessions, addressing both fitness and recovery needs. Many of my clients seek my assistance after receiving clearance from their doctors or physical therapists, aiming to embark on or resume their fitness journey while still in the recovery phase from surgery or injury. Additionally, some clients without specific injuries turn to me when traditional workouts fail to yield desired results.
Recognizing the unique needs of each client, I personalize their reformer exercises to facilitate recovery and strengthen both body and mind. The Pilates reformer proves instrumental in targeting specific muscles without the impact associated with traditional workouts.
My journey into Pilates began as a result of my own lingering injuries. After obtaining clearance from my physical therapist, I began Pilates reformer exercises and was hooked! I could feel the strength and healing in my body that I had never felt before and I knew I wanted to work with clients on their path to recovery. I truly felt that I had left my old mind and body behind and had risen from the ashes.
